I went over to Mom's after work. She took her kitty to the vet and he's really sick. There are still some test results to get back but Mom isn't really holding out hope that he'll be okay. He's such a good, sweet boy.

He's gums are white. He's got blood and protien in his urine, but there's no sign of bacteria. Mom's already made the decision that if whatever he has is terminal she'll put him to sleep.

Poor guy. Poor mom. Poor you. It's a hard thing, losing a little friend. Hopefully things will turn out well and you won't have to.

Thanks. I told Mom I'd be asking for ~ma, etc. I'm going to call her in the afternoon and find out what the vet said. It's so frustrating because he's such a sweetie and for the first few years of his life he was really neglected.
