Another Reason I want to move out -- my father doesn't always respect my boundaries and I end up shooing him out of my room.

I have one room. That's it. He's got his office and his bedroom for privacy and I have my room.

Plus he's suddenly all "Father daughter time!" and acting more interested in my life. I don't know if that's because I'm moving (across town mind, not across country) or because his girlfriend dumped him.

He probably needs to feel connected to you. He's feeling like everyone is leaving him. That said, he needs to stay the hell out of your room :)
