Well, good on you! Yay for the Librarian thing - v. good kind of job. And yay for the him-liking-your-legs thing. I do understand the 'Huh' thing about the age, but if you dig him, it's not a biggy - people are people, regardless of when they were born. (er. state the obvious much?)

It's good that you're cool with it, as a getting-to-know-you thing, rather than a date thing, but I have to ask - did you think he was someone you could fancy? Not just intellectually, but, you know - in a pinging you kind of way? If you see what I mean?

I see what you mean. There was no ping. Physically he's not my type at all and we really didn't talk much -- mostly because I had to get back to work.

He liked my legs, he's a librarian, there's no immediate attraction but who knows. Just going out to dinner will be nice.

Then yay for going out to dinner - it's actually kind of cool that there's no ping, in a way, because that takes the stress out of it. If that makes sense? I find myself far more likely to kick back and have fun (and indeed flirt, inadvertently, come to think of it) when I'm not all nervous and invested. Going out is cool. Go team!

There's no stress. Actually he called me last night but I didn't get to the phone in time and since it was so close to my bedtime I decided to wait and call him tonight.
