Apart from the fact that she can swallow, and Michael withdrew permission for that, and had the feeding tube put in.

The guy is an attempted murder suspect in my mind based purely on her original "fall", let alone all the things that he has done since then. No single act was major, but a penny here and a penny there soon adds up to real money.

Um... so the malpractice settlement for the doctors's not recognizing and treating her bulimia, that was also part of the plot?

Not to mention all the doctors and nurses in the long-term care facility -- people who are trained and well-experienced in dealing with PVS and comas -- who haven't detected foul play? All the legitimate medical advice, all the legitimate medical testimony in the many court actions?

You'd rather believe in a tragic murder mystery than read, say, the statement of the Guardian Ad Litem that the court appointed for Terri, who as a neutral third party investigated every aspect of her life and medical care up to that point.

I do wonder how much he paid the judge (and it's odd that the same judge heard every stage of the case) to order not just the removal of her feeding tube, but the cessation of all nourishment (not a required step if she can't swallow), and order that she be cremated without autopsy. This last part is where Michael fucked up, because Florida law does not give him any say in whether there's an autopsy, if she's cremated. None whatsoever. Him saying "I allowed an autopsy" is like him standing on the beach saying "I'm making the waves come in".

There is going to be an autopsy.

And you really believe that Michael Schiavo had the money and the power to pay off judges? There were other judges that heard the case.

There can't be an MRI because there's metal in her head from an experimental treatment---- a treatment that Michael got for her. The treatment didn't work, but it was experimental and a long shot. How do explain that? And even if there wasn't any metal in her head Terri would have to lie very still for the MRI -- which she can't do because of the involuntary reflexes.

There is going to be an autopsy. If the autopsy results support the medical evidence that Terri's body could no longer function beyond involuntary reflexes will you say that Michael paid off the coroner or say that the coroner is part of this vast conspiracy that has to include the judges, the hospice, all the medical professionals who've said she's in a vegetative state and can't get better?

It seems to me that any opinion or test and no matter who states that Terri Schiavo can not communicate and does not know what is going on will be dismissed as part of this conspiracy or that Michael Schiavo paid them off. I can't believe that Michael has that kind of money. Yes there was a medical malpractice suit that he won (and her parents seemed to have supported even though the suit said that Terri's collapse was brought on by misdiagnosised bulumia). Yes there was $1 million dollar settlement but $700,000 of that went immediately toward Terri's care. I don't know how the rest of the $300,000 was spent but after a decade and taxes I don't think there's much left.

Oh, and $700,000 did not go to Terri's care.

$550,000 of her $750,000 has gone on Michael's legal fees. Yep. The money the judge awarded her is being used to kill her.

This is the lastest news in this whole saga:

"The parents of Terri Schiavo have authorized a conservative direct-mailing firm to sell a list of their financial supporters, making it likely that thousands of strangers moved by her plight will receive a steady stream of solicitations from anti-abortion and conservative groups."

I hope that unscrupleous people are influencing the Schindlers.

One more thing. If Michael can't dictate if there will be an autopsy then why is everyone pissed off and mad at him and claiming that he's doing that to hide anything.

I have no earthly idea. I only speak for myself.

She didn't have a "fall", she had a massive heart attack due to a severe electrolyte imbalance.
