Florida Privatizes Child Welfare Programs

Because JEB! won't be happy until there are no government agencies left. He did say that from the beginning -- that he wanted a government with no agencies, no people, nothing.

blink

But...but...

What on earth is he actually trying to achieve through that, though? Does anyone actually know?

I think the only thing he is trying to achieve is privitation of every state agency. I don't have the exact quote but JEB wants a state government with no people. No state workers. Everything privatized. Because he's an ass. He's taking this whole "small government" to an insane extreme.

They already priviatized payroll through PeopleFirst. And there have been all kinds of snafus and foul ups and people losing their insurance coverage or not getting paid, etc.

So, basically, he's out of his tiny little mind? And trying to commit political suicide?

The man's a whackaloon. Seriously. Someone *must* have told him he's going to flush his career straight down the crapper.

He did manage to get re elected. The Dems have to find a strong candidate next election. JEB can't run again (THANK GOD!) but the state doesn't need anyone like JEB around.

He says he isn't going to run for President, and I'm hoping against hope he doesn't. But if he does run for President I'll spend every waking hour fighting against him. The whole family is a menance and very polarizing. Mom's only crossed party lines to vote against the Bushes.

But in a shift from the other contracts, the state has agreed to pay Our Kids more money if the number of children it handles rises more than 3 percent, officials said.

Huh? Why? I mean, I can kind of understand "If they're handling more kids, they'll need to use more resources, and so need more money," but why not wait to see how much money is actually being used, and how, before deciding on when to give them more?

That would make sense. Captian Logic is not steering JEB's tugboat.
