I. Love. Beautiful. Thing. One of my favorite movies ever. Ste *is* a woobie. And I cheer the damn ending. Who cares if it's realistic, I think it's important to have a gay teen movie that ends on an upbeat note.

It's such a sweet movie, I think I'll buy it at some point.

When Ste says "they made me ugly" my heart just breaks. Poor boy.

Sandra's a good mother, flawed like all mothers are, but she's there for Jamie, such an embarassing excuse she gave for him cutting of school.

It's very nice to see them dancing at the end, Ste comfortable enough to do that and the looks on their faces.
