Unfortunatly I got a wee bit dizzy watching the OLN broadcast. When I finally fell for hockey hard I checked out several books (Hockey for Dummies, Complete Idiot's Guide to Hockey --- which is more about the history than the game, some book by Cam Neely) they all said not to try and follow the puck exactly, but to watch the players and try to see where the play is developing.

Except, you can't do that with OLN! Plus they have those weird extreme close ups -- like on the T of a stick.

But, I LOVE the mic'd players. It definitly gives me a better idea of what goes on with the players on the ice and on the bench. Whoever they had mic'd last night was great---when a Habs player skated by the bench he leaned over and just yelled really loud, for distraction I guess. And then one of the last audio clips was right before a face off (I think) and he tells the other guy "Have you gained weight?"

I've also downloaded a bunch of games and most of them are from TSN or CBC, I was hoping someone put up the game with the big fight, but I haven't been able to find it.

tomorrow and Friday are Tampa games on Sun Sports, I hope that Tampa can start passing well.
