askye at 01:36pm on 05/11/2005Several times in the past month Dad's talked about "a friend" that he's done things with. Now, "a friend" usually means a woman, and after the whole deal with his ex girlfriend I know that "a friend" actually means "some woman close to your age that I'm interested in."
He hasn't come out and said that, but he was talking about "a friend" and then said, "Well, you've met her she's X".
I have no idea if they are friends or if there's more, but I have met her and she is about my age. I keep wondering when "a friend" is going to mean "some woman who's about 5 yrs younger than you."
