Caught up on SGA -- well Sateda. I also watched Irrestiable but that wasn't one of my favorites. I do have some comments about Sateda.
I've read a few places where people didn't like Carson's attitude not being professional towards Rodney and I couldn't really see what was so bad. They don't have a strictly professional relationship, while I wouldn't call them friends they do have a relationship outside work . I thought they inter acted more like close co workers than just doctor patient. And I don't have a problem with that. I'd have to go back and look but I felt that during Carson and Rodney's exchange about how Rodney treats Ronan took place outside the doctor patient part of their interaction was over and they were back to being coworkers.
I loved John and Teyla's exchange! I know that there is a lot of love for DH (and understandably) but Joe Flannigan does a fantastic job. And he was great in that scene. And with Caldwell and ... well through out. His body language and delivery is really good. Hopefully the writers will give us more background with John, the Letters from Pegasus was telling since he didn't send a letter to anyone and this cements the idea that there isn't anyone for him to send a letter to. Yesterday I ran across this Rodney/John story where at the beginning Rodney is meeting John's parents for the first time. The idea of John having parents that he's close to threw me right out of the story because it's so far from how I see John that I couldn't finish it. It was just one of those things.
Also heard about Not!Lorne and when I saw him I realized that it should have been Lorne. I'm assuming the actor wasn't available. Maybe we'll see Major No Name again.
So glad we've got some background on Ronan it makes him more interesting and Jason did a great job. Also the actress who played his wife (I'm assuming that was his wife) especially the exchange in the hospital when he's trying to get her out and she points to the little gir
