my diamond shoes, they are tight

I was really looking forward to watching cable tonight. Maybe see what was on Sci Fi or watch NCIS ON Demand. But there is no tv for me.

The guy came! He hooked it up! And then told me it might be a few hours for everything to download. I ran errands, went to the game came back. No cable.

Turns out he forgot to change the setting outside.  Which means I won't have cable until Tuesday. But at least I'll be able to watch Eureka.  It's stupid to be disappointed but I am.

Is not stupid. You were promised. You anticipated, you were disappointed. It's natural. I'd even accept a little tantrum, or a minor pity party.

Now if it's still bothering you next week, or next year, then it might be a little stupid.

It won't bother me by the end of the week. Actually last night and tonight I got reception for a little bit and watched Bad Boys last night (not widescreen but really it didn't matter), and then tonight I watched Shipwrecked on BBCAmerica On Demand...it's this weird reality show that't not like Survivor. There are two islands and new people spend 3 days at each island and then decide which team they want to join. The island with the most people wins. Well, there are little things in common with Survivor -- like romances and people who don't do work. Then the cable went out. But tomorrow I'll get to see Eureka!
