askye at 02:37pm on 28/05/2007I ended up watching a lot of Angel this weekend, most of Season 1 (I skimmed and skipped a bit) and I'm on the beginning part of Season 2. I don't remember Kate being that annoying, but maybe it's watching her all crammed together in a few hours that's making me want to throttle her. But Wesley is so young and well even by the episodes I'm on he's changed a lot since he first showed up as a Rogue Demon Hunter. I finished watching the Shroud of Ramon. I didn't really like Wesley in the interrogation in this, but I think it was more the dialogue than the acting. Kate is majorly annoying. But DB was great as the Rat Packer vamp.
I took a break though to watch one of my Dolph movies - I couldn't finish it. I've watched Men of War, which actually wasn't too bad. There's a plot and decent actors (Catherine Bell, Thomas Gibson, BD Wong), good action scenes and shirtless Dolph. The plot is laughable (Thomas Gibson and partner want to kill all the islanders for guano), but it's better than Bridge of Dragons.
I tried to watch The Last Warrior, another post apocalyptic movie. This time there's a huge earthquake and California is split off from the continent. I'm not sure what the plot is because I couldn't watch more than 10 minutes of the movie. There is a horrible voice over. Not that Dolph has a bad voice, but omigod what he had to read was so incredibly horrible and trite. None could have saved that voice over.
