askye at 09:46pm on 21/06/2007I had a very weird Gilmore Girls dream. It was sort of set in the final season, but Rory called Luke "Dad" because when she was younger Loralei and Luke had gotten married and he'd raised her and Chris was in the picture. Although it wasn't stated like that, it was just the two of them Rory happily calling Luke "Dad" I sort of knew all that.
Anyway Rory and Luke were walking and ran into Lane who was there with her twins. Except instead of cradling two babies she was cradling these half dead plants -- some bright green leaves and some yellowing leaves. She turns to Luke and something about her babies with a blissful smile and Luke recoils "they're plants!" Rory looked horrified "We don't say that! They're twins!" Rory trying to protect her friend and then there was something where Rory said something about them going to school soon and walking away with Luke saying that's when "they" (meaning either Rory and Loralei or the town) were going to plant the "twins". Luke was just confused and trying to go with it.
Very odd dream.
