askye at 09:38pm on 11/08/2007I'm working on my Vid Spreadsheet (and watching vids since I'm not at VVC) and I'm watching vids that I either only watched once after I downloaded or didn't actually get around to watching. And several have my biggest pet peeve in vidding
Dialog over lyrics.
As soon as I hear that I close out the vid, make a notation for my spreadsheet, and never watch it again. I don't delete, because, well, I'm a bit anal about that and the idea behind my spreadsheet is when I run across a website I can check the spreadsheet and see if I have it already. Although once I've finished it maybe I'll delete the vids.
Back to the point.
Here are my two problems with talking over the lyrics:
1 - For the vast majority of vids this is the first time I'm ever hearing the song, so when there's talking over the lyrics, I can't hear the lyrics and I miss part of what the song is about.
2 - it's aesthetically displeasing to me, an audio clash
