Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha  (gasps for breath) hahahahahahahahha.

Omigod. This is soooo bad. Sci Fi original movie. Bad./ The girl reporter -- was a girl he saved when she was little, but this is the BIG REVEAL at the end. With Bring me to Life (I think or the other Evansence song).  She's blonde and she, I think, falls in love with him.

The only, only good line in this whole thing was "it's like non fat vegan blood" and that was just because Jason Dorhing.

I didn't hate it. But I wasn't paying a whole lot of attention beyond Jason Dohring and Sophie Myles.

My standards must be much, much lower.

I have pretty low standards. I wasn't expecting high art or even Forever Knight, but it just seemed like I'd seen everything before, but done better.

A better actor for the professor for one, and if they'd just said this was the girl he saved rather than making it a big secret.

The Evanescence song in question was, in fact, "My Immortal." ::gags:: Which still wasn't as bad as the Celine Dion song over the promo for next week.

My Immortal is worse. It was just so...I felt like. It felt like I'm reading a story by someone who's written sci fi but "it's not sci fi" so they hit all the tropes and cliches even though they are trying to be different.
