Lazarus Rising I watched last night.
I'm trying to remember my thoughts other than -- Dean's Back! yay and wow, I don't think Sam has been doing so well. Mostly I just liked the Bobby and Dean interaction and also so that's hwo that chick was in Heaven.
Are You There God It's Me Dean Winchester
Although when I was typing this I almost typed It's Me Margaret. I'm not sure how I feel about this episode. It was interesting but it was also frustrating to start the show, see a woman, and figure out she was going to be dead pretty soon. And yep there she goes being killed. Oh look there's Hendricks -- why couldn't he have lived, he would have made an interesting ally. I liked Bobby's panic room.
Then there is Castiel. Okay so this is Castiel and he's interesting. From what I had heard about Angels and Heaven and all that I wasn't so sure I was sold on the idea, but I like it.Although this isn't so great for Sam and Dean's relationship.
Especially with Dean working with Ruby. I don't like the new Ruby. But this doesn't look good at all. Sam taking advice and help from the demons, even a supposed good demon.
And the Angels pulling Dean out of hell.
In the Beginning --
Mary is a Hunter. Her whole family is a hunter. And in one fell swoop most fanfics were Jossed. And John is the sweet innocent. I'm going to make a stab here and guess that John never knew that Mary and her family were hunters. I'm not sure if that's right.
And Dean is so...determined and omigod broken when he's talking to Mary. And of course I realized that Dean never knew that he and Sam were named for their grandparents.
Metamorphasis-
I still dont' like the new Ruby. I don't really like what Sam is doing either. I can't remmber if it was this episode or another where Sam was talking abou being alone after Dean died. And he wasn't, Bobby was there and Bobby wanted to help. Instead Sam trusts Ruby over Bobby and I don't get it. Yes she seems to be conflicted and trying to work against her nature and I can see why that would appeal to Sam but, really? Trusting her over Bobby I don't get.
Hey this guy doesn't want to kill his wife, that's good. I bet if Dean and Sam had talked to him before Travis got there Jack might have been saved.
Monster Movie -- Black and White. I LOVE When SPN does shows like this they do it really well. And YAY the woman saves Dean and herself. Good I was glad she didn't die. Can we have some more of that please?
Yellow Fever:
Yellow Fever had me conflicted. On the one hand Jensen Ackles was freaking hysterical. The whole "I'll man the flashlight" and screaming at the cat and worrying about having fake ids, just really funny.
On the other hand the actual plot line of the ghost kinda pushed some buttons. It wasn't the guy's fault, I mean okay he was infecting people as a ghost, but he was scared and abused and the way he died. I had to fast forward when they were scaring him to death because it just felt too cruel.
