Collected Thoughts

Eye doctor thing was a bust. I got an appt for 3:50. Then I didn't eat all day.

Well, I had a candy bar and chips out of the vending machine but that's not actual food.

I missed the entrance to the parking lot twice, because of the time of day and new intersection change I had to go way the hell out of my way to make a u turn to go back and make a u turn so I could get on the correct side of the road. When I said something about how they might want to mark it because it was difficult to see they were rude to me. And hung up on the last time I was there, which was in 1991. I had no idea. I waited and waited and waited and finally went to see what the time was and it was 4:30. My appt was at 3:50. I waited some more and being hungry and pissy and genarlly not happy (and not liking the rude staff) I left.

Which I so shouldn't have done but I left almost an hour after I got there. Evidentally there was some kind of emergency but the reception staff informed me of that with an attitude.

Plus I discovered in the grocery store that I don't actually have anything with my perscription for my meds written on it so I'm going to ahve to call the doctor about that.

And then I drank 5 diet cokes. I didn't realise how many I'd drank until I looked at the 12 pack.

Tomorrow I'mtaking a mental health day and hoping that I can get to see another eye doctor. I feel stupid now for leaving but I have a very very low tolerance for being treated rudely by doctor's staff.

Now that I've spammed you all....

I got my hair cut today. Ran by Mom's to show her, then as I was leaving I almost hit a car. I was on the street with the stop sign and I swear I looked, but I must not ahve turned my head becuase I went forward and nearly broadside a car.

I never saw it.

This isn't the only time I've had trouble seeing something or judging something on my right side while I was driving. I was thinking that my car had a weird blind spot, but now that I'm thinking about it (and obsessively testing myself) the vision on my right side seems dimmer and more closed in.

Tomorrow I call my HMO and find out about getting into see someone ASAP.

Now I'm freaked out about driving, I just have to remember that I can't just slightly turn my head but I have to turn my head all the way.

And I figured out what kind of icons I'm looking for -- Bat Family, also the Outsiders (esp Arsenal and Indigo), Wonder Woman. Touching Evil.

I'm tryign to think of anything non fandom and I'm drawing a blank.

If anyone out there is watching the Olympics and can do screen caps I would LOVE LOVE pics of the swimmers (guys) and the synchro divers (guys).

The song has a creepy feel to it, which is perfect for The Ring. The vid is creepy too. Very nice effects and a few nice,sublte sounds.
