I'm finally getting caught up on Supernatural. And I'm WAY Behind.
How far behind? Well I'm on Season 3 and just finished watching Jus in Bello. Well I've seen some of the episodes in S3 but not all of them, like this one. It makes me want to watch Assault on Precinct 13 again. I'm sure that's what they had in mind. I have S4 in blu ray so I'm looking forward to watching it.
I did catch a recent episode of Supernatural on TV but I realized one reason I gave it up see easy - for some reason our CW channel looks like crap all the time and Supernatural looks even worse than normal, I swear I've seen reruns from the 80s on other non high def channels that look better than CW. Especially night shots and dark lighthing. Which is almost everything in Supernatural.
But if I get caught up I'll watch it.
It's interesting watching these after I've seen Dark Side where Sam and Dean..you know....relive parts of their lives (I'm being vague, I don't think i'd be spoiling anyone, but I'm being vague) and how Dean has always been the family caretaker and trying to fix things nad then seeing the dreaming episode where he dreams about Demon!Dean and gets pissed and goes on about how John shouldn't have put him in that role. And then to see from the current season episode how long he's been in that role. I don't know ifthat's something that the show runneers had in mind during the dreaming episode (I mean about Dean kinda cleaning up stuff from early on) but it gives it a different weight.
I also have to say I like Ruby. Bella is obnoxious but then she's supposed to be so that works out. But I like Ruby, I don't know what happens to her character but I'm pretty sure she's going to die at some point. From what bits I know about the current season and what I've seen so far.... I wouldn't be surprised if Kripke kills off everyone Sam and Dean knows and trusts and in the end just leaves the two of them.
Or maybe just one of them.
And most of the episodes at the end make me want to comfort Dean, oddly I don't get that from Sam. Sam I have more of an urge to tell him to stop being stubborn.
