However, I firmly believe that Angel asked Lorne to kill Lindsey and that was the "one last job" not killing the obvious bad guys. Because why would that be so distasteful to Lorne? Plus I don't think, given Lindsey's history, that Angel COULD trust him to stay good. Or at least not really evil.

This isn't Buffy, the evil doesn't begin and end in Sunnydale or with the Hellmouth.

So true. This ended exactly the way it should have, I think.
