I'm South Beaching myself these days. It's pretty sane as diets go. Good luck! One thing that helps me, is making things like a pot of (south beach consistant) soup or several broiled chicken breasts ahead of time. Then if you have to work late or just don't feel like cooking you can pop a bowl of soup in the microwave or throw together some chicken salad.

Thanks for the advice. Last night I meant to cook up some chicken to have for my salad but I ended up using a little can of chicken.

I bought the book right after it was published and I know there have been some revisions but I haven't figured out what those are. I did find a recipe for white chili that was really good and Phase 1 friendly. I'm going to see if I can find it again and make and freeze it.
