You might be moving too much if your belly is getting in the way.ou really need to start out with slight, subtle movements in Pilates. If you do them right, ad you use the right muscles, it should be a strain to just get your head off the floor at first. Make sure your belly is scooped, your spine is fused to the floor, and your thigh muscles are *not* engaged.

I'm definitly going to practice that before I get any further.

I will say that today my back felt better than it has all week.
