Nothing more frustrating. But, lost or stolen, you should report it. When I lost my wallet I was able to call the CC companies and get them to put a temporary stop on my card, so that if I found it they could just reactivate it. When I was sure it wasn't anywhere, I got them to cancel and re-issue, which didn't cost anything, and if your bank charges you for replacing a debit card, I suggest you change banks.

I had to report my debit card stolen previously (and then I found the damn thing, which is why I've been reluctant to do this) and I think there's a fee since this is my second time. Both my debit card and credit card have identity theft insurance that's automatic, plus they have information about identity theft, which is something I guess I have to worry about now.

Plus tomorrow I need to contact my job and let them know my id is gone missing. I just wish I could get back at least my driver's license.

It's terribly pissy, isn't it?

But check into the identity theft insurance, because it probably requires that you report a lost/stolen card as soon as you realise it's missing.
