Tonight I sat down and really watched your Sharks play...and it wasn't the high scoring game. There wasn't a hat trick but ----

DAMN! Does your goalie kick ass!

Right now I would love to see a Sharks/Bolts final just so I can see Nabokov and Khabibulin go up against each other.

Of course, the rest of your team was great. But goalie is my favorite position ... so I'd want to see them go up against each other.

I was not online much this weekend due to technical difficulties.

I had planned to watch Dressed to Kill, which I've had from Netflix for a bit now, except I can't find it. I looked and looked and it seems to have disappeared. Hopefully it just fell behind something or is between something where I didn't see it.

Due to technically difficulties I couldn't download from sn.org like I hoped, so I'm still behind on Angel.

I did manage to watch Touching Evil. It was creepy and I had to look a way a few times but very good and I really liked it. Everyone should be watching Touching Evil.

Cold Case featured the Indigo Girls and I realized I haven't listened to them in forever, and also that I have only 2 cds and not the ones I was looking for. This has to be rectified.

And then there was hockey. Tampa Bay won, of course, it was lovely to watch. And the game was on both ESPN & Sunshine Network so I could flip back and forth between commentators and different replays (also Sunshine Network shows fights). However, I am really really sick of hearing the Sunshine Network color Commentator whining about every bad call he thinks happens. Whine whine whine. He was pissed off because one of the Lightning (Modin I think) got called for closing his hand on the puck but then it wasn't called when a Habs player did it.

Plus he mentioned something that a Bolts player had said about the Habs not doing something right with thier sticks during the face off. I'm not sure what they were doing wrong becuase I don't know the actual details of what is supposed to happen during a face off. BUT, suddenly the Sunshine Network was focusing very closesly on face offs instead of using that time for replays or graphics. And the commentator was again bitching.

Bitch Moan Bitch Moan.

Bad calls happen but hey! the Bolts got away with their share of things.

You know what sucks?

My dad just bought this really nice computer that he basicallyjust plays freecell on.

And my computer is starting to go down hill fast. It keeps doing weird odd things and not responding and god...I want a new computer so bad, I'm afraid my computer is about to go the way of my car.

With all the problems I've been having lately I just to use it as minimally as possible.

The Lightning win Game 1 against Montreal.

PLUS Vinnie got his first two goals of the playoffs. Khabibulin was fanstastic!! And there was a big fight right at the end but I'm pretty sure that the Lightning weren't penalized at all, but I couldn't really tell because the ESPN2 Commentators were talking about upcoming games.

Plus they kept talking about useless stuff or repeating the same thing over and over like each time they talked about a player it was the first time EVER someone might have heard about them.

Dude. At this point EVERYONE knows about Marty's round to the Lightning unless they haven't been watching ESPN at all. Or maybe they don't know all the details but they know he's short, he's fast, he's the top scorer, and pretty much going to be the MVP.

At least they weren't like the ESPN commentators and say that Eric Perrin was a childhood friend of Vinnie's and implied that Eric and Marty just kinda knew each other. Marty and Eric were childhood friends.

I would have liked to see the game on Sunshine Network but it was blacked out in favor of college baseball. Okay fine the home team was playing but who cares! I want to watch hockey on my preferred channel.

I've discovered two things tonight.

1) both my email accounts are filtering out legit mail. And it pisses me off. Especially hotmail. I'm thinking of giving up that account because there have been so many problems. The filter on Yahoo is supposed to be turned off and considering how much spam I get then everything sent to me should get through.

and

2) I can recognize CKR's face when it's just flashed by. I haven't been watching Kingdom Hospital. For some reason I thought it was just a short miniseries and then...well there's hockey. But tonight I watched bits of it and saw the previews for next week. The images are flashing by too quick for me to realize and---

CKR!!! I had to get online to double check...there's nothing on IMDB (but his Touching Evil episode isn't there eitehr). I went to callumkeithrennie.net and there it was in the news section that his picture is featured on tvguide.com.

Of course since I'm not registered I can't see this picture, and I have no plans to register with tvguide.com. When they switched to registration I made the switch to zap2it.com.

Yesterday I finall watched the first disc of Sports Night--all of it. I didn't realize I was watching all of it, I just kept watching the next episode and the next and then I ran out of episodes.

The question I came up with is--what in the hell was I watching instead of this? This show is great! I love the dialouge and the characters. Plus Casey and Dan are SUCH a couple! And Jeremey is goofy and sweet...I like all of the characters except for Gordon and JJ and I'm not supposed to like them. Also I had know idea that Gordon was played by Ted McGinly--which totally changes the picture of Gordon I had in my head when I as reading fanfic. I had a more Orsini type actor in my head.

I think I'm going to keep around the first disc while I try to get the second...I just want to sit down and watch everything again.

Also this weekend I bought Batman Year One and finally finished Batgirl Year One. I'm really intrigued and now I want to go read about the various Robins. At the comic book store I was already to start buying the current issue and back issue of Batman...but there wasn't just one Batman title like there is for Batgirl, they all have these subtitles and I'm not sure where I should start. I really liked Batgirl Year One, although I was surprised to see Robin in the shorts and tights and I want to know the rest of the story. I'm definitly hooked. And I need to slow down on my spending (not just on that but other things...)

I still haven't watched all of the latest episode of Angel...I'm having difficulty getting episodes downloaded, I've run out of hard drive space AGAIN! I did watch parts of it while flipping between that and the Tampa Bay game.

Life and hockey have pretty much swallowed me up. But mostly it's life and trying to get things done. I've trimmed my friendslist massively mostly taking out people who I friended on a whim and never friended me back but also some other people.

I'm still not down to a reasonable number but hopefully I'll now have a chance to keep up with my friends list a bit better.

On my lunch break. Between work, my car, and grocery shopping I'm getting home just in time for hockey. With the tv and computer in other rooms this means I'm not online much.

Hopefully my latest attempt to download the first episode of Touching Evil worked, I haven't checked it out yet. CKR is going to be in this week's episode.

Caught a bit of the first episode of DS9. God how I love that show. It was the part where Sisko is looking at the image of his wife, the way he last saw her, and the wormhole alien version of his wife is telling him "this is where you live." It gets me everytime. Especially the "No, it isn't linear." He's so broken and I hear him saying that it's not sane and he final understands that... sigh. DS9 so rocked.

Tonight I'm torn, the Lightning/Islanders game runs until 9:30. Baring any overtime. And of course there's Angel tonight. I've been taping all the Lightning games (I mean, I might as well, who knows if I'll watch them again)...but! now I have two things. I think I won't tape Angel and download it instead. Hopefully I'll watch it tomorrow.

I have a car.

My 15 yr old Camry was close to dead. In a few months it would have been an ex Camry pining for the fjords. It needed a new transmission and radiator and despite replacing the muffler recently you couldn't tell. Plus the new ish brakes were squealing again and water leaks into the trunk.

So I had 2 choices--Borrow Money from dad to fix it. or Borrow money from Dad to Replace it.

We went with the replace option. Currently my payments to dad are really really low, but that's going to be renegotiated soon.

I now have a 98 Accord. Silver. I like it. It's miles and miles better than the Camry and the sales person was not pushy and nice unlike the other two we talked to.

I had to tape the Bolts game and not watch it. However I did see that the score was a mirror of Game 1---Isles 3. Bolts 0.

Maybe later tonight I'll watch the game...Habby--what happened?
