I have to be at work tomorrow morning at 7:30 (there's a meeting, but there will be food)

I've felt like crap so far and it already feels like it's been a week. I'm frustrated about a lot of things. I suck at getting up early so I'm going to bed now.

Hockey is on tonight, there were some trades made but my favorite players are still around. It looks like they were going for players who will play hard/physical.

The weather has been lovely very spring like. AND this Saturday the downtown market opens up and there's a local farm that will be there and I want to try their stuff. Also I found info about slow food and lots of good local resources for organic and other foods. I'm trying to eat better and it's good to find all these sources of good local food.

I'm watching one more American Idol then off to bed.

of Sweeney Todd!

I don't go out to see live shows much and this afternoon I realized I'm a dummy. Sweeney Todd was amazing! There was one slight issue, the actress playing Mrs. Lovett has been sick and her voice was kind of off and then after the intermission she suddenly had a different voice (which turned out to be someone doing a voice over), after the applause she called out the girl doing the voice over. I think because of this they didn't do By the Sea. So the second half seemed slightly rushed.

However, she was really good as Mrs. Lovett, she totally made me forget Angela Lansbury. Everyone was really good and I had a great time. The guy playing Anthony had a very nice voice as well.

I bought the tickets online and had never been to the theater before, but the seats were great much closer to the stage than I thought (but not too close).

Next month they are putting on The Philadelphia Story and I'll definitely go see that.

Now I just need to find my keys and figure out what happened to my debit card, I need to get cash so I can pay for my Girl Scout Cookies.

Oh! Plus I came home and found Tampa leading the Pens. Although the Pens scored right after I started watching but it's been an exciting game with lots almost goals --lots of pucks off posts and the play by play guy is all excited.

Tampa won! Didn't see much of the game, I was at Mom's but I saw Andre score the 4th goal. Andre Roy!! I love him, he's a funny player. Tough guy on the ice but a goofball.

It went to OT which means the Trash got a point, but Tampa beat them down so we're still on top of the division!!!

I see that the Sabres/Senators game was one to watch. 120 PIM in 2 periods. Goalies getting tossed from the game even.

And they say all the hitting and fighting has gone from the game.

There's a major crackdown on internet usage at work. There's a new filtering program that filters EVERYTHING. And there are some pages that have quotas, which I'm not sure how it works except I clicked on a news article on Yahoo and it told me that the article was blocked because it was Financial, but I had a quota and could look at it for 10 mins. But what happens is first someone in the IT department has to see what you are looking at and deem it okay.

Everyone in my office was a little stunned at the new rules. Webmail is completely blocked out as are any chat, forums, etc. So basically no one is going to be online. I'm not sure exactly how this will effect me, definitly more work will be getting done. Either that or people will get more creative with killing time (none of the upgraded computers have games on them).

Also next Sunday Mom and I are going to see the University's production of Sweeney Todd. I'm quite excited about that as I love love love Sweeney Todd.

So, I'm not sure what happened but this morning when I turned on my computer the Nano registered on iTunes and it turned on and started charging. This wasn't the first time I turned my computer off and back on but whatever. It's ALIIIIIVE!!!

Now I just have to figure out what to do with my crippled fish. See, my Betta fish is kind of paralyzed or something. His tail doesn't work right, but he can sort of move around. I'm thinking maybe I accidentally hurt him when I was changing the water in his bowl. Maybe. But I've had him for a couple of years now and I don't know how old he was when I got him so maybe he's just old. Or maybe he had a fishy stroke. I did move him back to the smaller fish bowl. I got him a larger one because the other was so tiny he didn't have room to swim. He liked to swim around in the larger one and I'm not sure what to do with him. But currently my plan is just to watch him. He does manage to swim around a bit.

I don't understand NBC's coverage of NHL. They advertised the big match up of Washington and Pittsburg (Ovechkin vs Crosby). Washington is in this division (Southeast) and what are they showing -- NY Rangers vs Chicago Blackhawks as regional coverage. How is that regional (not just NY Rangers being north of here but Chicago is West). The Caps vs Pens has Ovechkin and Crosby! Not to mention Pittsburg is in a pretty good play off spot.

I've got to figure out a way I can afford a full digital package and Center Ice and these commercials. Someone must be a sleep.

edit -- now they are showing the intermission stuff they JUST SHOWED just before the commercial break,

Tool is coming to town!! Tickets go on sale next week, I hope I can afford good seats.

Daughtry is coming to town as well, but he's playing at a club. I wasn't going to spend my money and then I was curious, but that sold out. And I started thinking about how when I was just out of high school I went to all kinds of heavy metal/hair metal concerts at a local club. I went by myself and didn't really care. And somehow I stopped doing that. At somepoint I became worried that something would happen to me or I was feeling self concious about going alone or I'd rather not go than go by myself. Which means that I haven't gone to a bunch of stuff.

Which is stupid. I know people I could see if they wanted to go to stuff and if not then I'd rather go by myself than sit at home and never do anything.

Can anyone give me advice about my Nano?

This afternoon at lunch I played it, it was fully charged and i wasn't having any problems. I turned it off and stuck it in my pocket but I must have forgotten to lock it.

When I got off work (about 4 hours later) and went to turn it on it wouldn't. Dead. I got home and plugged it into the computer to charge and nothing.

It's off and iTunes doesn't recognize it.

This is a first gen Nano that I got last Christmas. Could the batter just up and die like that?

Sam Waterston was on my tv in a commercial again. this time for Ameritrade. I can't take him seriously as a spokesperson because I keep expecting him to say "For when the metal ones decide to come for you. And they will."
